A burgeoning UAV industry has developed in NZ with a number of manufacturers, research groups and commercial operators now showing the true value UAV (aka drone) technology can deliver.

Callaghan Innovation and UAVNZ welcome you to New Zealand’s third national UAV Industry Conference.

 

Building on the success of the 2015 “Shared Skies” Symposium, the 2017 conference will be the most significant and important event for the NZ UAV industry to date. Join us to learn about the latest developments, share knowledge and network with all the key players in one spot!

 

CONFERENCE PROGRAMME

The conference will feature presentations from Civil Aviation Authority, Airways Corporation, UAVNZ, Flirtey, Massey University, the NZ Fire Service, the NASA UAS Traffic Management project, including topics such as:

  • Public perceptions and privacy issues
  • Property owner rights and permissions
  • Safety and operational best practice
  • Commercial impact and economic benefits
  • Beyond line of sight operations
  • Remote sensing and UAV technology development

The Hon Simon Bridges (Minister of Transport) has also been invited to give a key note speech.

An individual registration fee of $200.00 (excl GST) includes access to all conference sessions, morning and afternoon tea, the networking function (Mon 13th Feb) and lunch (Tues 14th Feb). Registration for all full-time tertiary students will be $100.00 (excl GST).
